SEGA considered new peripheral for Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games

Was the peripheral going to be for the Wii or 3DS? I’m guessing it would land on Wii, but we’ll never know for sure, will we?! Thanks to Shadzter for the heads up!
