Nintendo's Wi-fi hotspots hit UK
Europeans have yet another reason to cheer on the DS front. Nintendo has rolled out over 600 wi-fi hotspots which jump into action today for gamers all over the UK. Gamers can expect to find these hotspots in stores like GAME, Gamestation, HMV, Toys R Us, Smyths Toys shops, and other various small retailers. Among the first demos to download will be Polarium and Meteos, and even a virtual meet and greet with Miyamoto’s Nintendog. The future will bring Trauma Center, Brain Training, Animal Crossing goodies, and a special Metroid Prime Hunters trailer.
Keep in mind that these units are just going into stores today, so expect the number of download hotspots to grow drastically over the next few weeks.
