GoNintendo EoD Thoughts - E3 2011 Day 1

Hey everyone. Wow, what a day, huh?

T27 crashed hours ago, and finished writing up impressions for some of what he saw today at his first E3…what a show to pick as the first time out here! RMC has been busy of course doing his thing, and I’ve been working on doing some writing, editing, and processing today’s photos. We took a few of them, actually; almost 200 got uploaded to our Flickr set for what is technically day 1 of the show.

In other news, you might notice a new banner for the show. Not because we were tired of ArmoredFrog’s excellent work, but because a new contestant entered the arena, and it’s only fair to give that one a few days as well. This one comes courtesy of ERAze, who some of you might know as the fellow who did our original banner design so many years ago. Always a pleasure to feature his work, but this time, he even tossed in a wallpaper. Enjoy!

We’re all dragging pretty hard after such an exciting day, travelling, and other craziness, so we’ll polish off our impressions with clearer minds and hopefully some kind of hotel room (or other) tour…before we trash the place. But for now, a few, precious hours of sleep. See you then! —cortjezter
