Rock Band Wii rumors bound to confuse

EA definitely discussed bringing Rock Band to the Wii, and we’ve all been waiting to hear more on that. While EA isn’t talking, online outlets are. The problem is, they are pretty damn confusing about it.

GamePro has an article up discussing a Wii version of Rock Band. They specifically state that the PS3 and Wii versions of the game will have wireless guitars. On top of that, they go on to state that the “game is expected at an unspecified later date on Wii”, which is pretty confusing in and of itself.

GamePro links to an Ars Technica article that they say has the wireless info. It indeed does, but it doesn’t mention the Wii at all. Either someone at GamePro slipped up, or they are letting on more than they should have.
