No plans for Mother 4 as of now
Shigesato Itoi, the creator of the Mother (Earthbound) series has explained to a Japanese publication that he, nor Nintendo have no plans for a Mother 4 title right now. The response to Mother 3 in Japan has been phenominal, both from a consumer and reviewer standpoint. While fans of the series would love to see another entry in the Mother series, it looks like they will have to hold their breath for now. Now if we could just get Nintendo to bring Mother 3 to the US!
