Casual, expanded audience, core, hardcore…these are all terms that are used to describe gamers. What happens if you find that you don’t fit into any of those molds? What if you enjoy Halo 3 from time to time, but you also dig a few rounds of Wii Sports? Perhaps you don’t stay up on the gaming news like the uber-fans do, but you manage to play numerous titles throughout the year, due to your stumbling upon them at GameStop. If any of these bits describe you, you may very well be a mid-core gamer.

Click over to read an article on a self professed mid-core gamer. In this instance, the mid-core gamer owns a PC, PS2, a Wii, a DS, and a smattering of plug-and-play games. It looks like more than a few readers out there will now have a gaming moniker to call their own.
