GameStop opens Mario Kart Wii preorders, offer up tentative release date

GameStop has officially started taking preorders for the next iteration of Mario Kart, which will appear on the Wii. According to GameStop, the game will be shipping on April 2nd, 2008. That is quite an odd date to have as a placeholder, which makes the speculation all that much more interesting. GameStop is definitely privy to info a lot earlier than most retailers are. I guess they are pretty confident in the date, seeing that they’ve opened preorders.
