Nintendo makes official statement about SI for Kids article

Just a few days ago, we reported that Sports Illustrated for Kids had an article that listed a Wii release date of November 6th. Apparently word made it’s way to Nintendo, who took the time to release an official statement.

“A speculated launch date appeared recently in a print publication. Nintendo has not yet announced a date, but remains committed to launch the remarkable Wii console in the fourth quarter of 2006.” - Nintendo Co. Ltd

Well there is Nintendo’s official word, now what are we to make of the Sports Illustrated for Kids article?! Huge thanks to our rep Allison for the statement.
