Europe - The disappointing language support of Baroque

Looks like Baroque will be yet another title that doesn’t receive proper localization for Europe. A response from Rising Star Games when reader Nemo tried to find out what the language situation would be.

Thanks for your e-mail. We are publishing Baroque in Europe but with English in-game text and full English manual only. However, we are producing a Quick Start guide (manual) in Spanish. The in-game text will only be in English unfortunately. It has not been possible to get the developer to include French, German, Spanish and Italian in-game text for this product. However, it seems to me that your English is good enough to understand the in-game text in English! The game will be available in July 2008.

This seems to be a growing trend, and a disturbing one at that.
