Miyamoto pleasantly surprised to be making Wii Fit
Over the weekend, we found out that none other than Miyamoto won Famitsu’s MVP award. Now, a bit of translated text from his acceptance speech has come through.
“Thank you, everyone. To get an honor like this, it makes me glad to have worked so hard over the past thirty years. This is going to sound a bit like a lie, but it’s like a dream. That said, I didn’t think five years ago that I’d be making Wii Fit. I thought I’d be making more Mario and Zelda.”
That’s okay…we didn’t expect you to be doing it either!
