Capcom selling Mega Man 9 with minimal effort and maximum fanfare
Not everyone is going to be happy with the way that Mega Man 9 looks. Unfortunately, there are some that believe the the graphics point to Capcom being lazy with the game. I think that Mega Man 9 has to be one of the most challenging games that Capcom has made in awhile. Yes, they are going back to the NES-style, but think about the last time Capcom, or any developer, created a game with that mindset. It’s not just a look, it’s a feeling…a certain something that makes the game look, play, and sound right. Recapturing that 8-bit feeling isn’t something that comes with a fresh coat of retro paint.
