Telltale games CEO Dan Connor is convinced that the point-and-click genre isn’t dead. It is hard to believe that the genre hasn’t been receiving much attention when you compare it to the buzz that the new Sam & Max game is getting. I personally have been waiting for way too long to see the next installment in the series, and couldn’t believe it when it finally materialized.

Speaking of point-and-click games, many of us have seen that the Wii could help in a revival of the genre. The Wiimote lends itself almost TOO perfectly to that style of gameplay. I am just glad to hear that us fans aren’t the only ones who think that. According to an interview with Mr. Connor, he thinks that Sam & Max would do very well on the Wii. Unfortunately that is all he said, and gave no confirmation of a Wii version in the works.

If you want to see the next Sam & Max on the Wii, make your voice heard! Head over to Telltale Games contact page and shoot them an email. Tell them you want your Sam & Max Wii!
