Dear Reader:
Level 5 Vision Conference - all announcements here
Level 5 held their Vision Conference, but it doesn’t seem that there was all that much in the way of ‘new’ information. Famitsu pretty much covered everything in their last issue. Still, I’ll go over the important bits/updates.
- Inazuma Eleven Break trailer was show, and from what we hear, it looked to be a Wii game. You can check out the teaser site here.
- Ninokuni teaser site has opened as well
- Atamania was confirmed, which was also mentioned in Famitsu. A series of unrelated puzzle games. Sounds like a Professor Layton game without a story. Check out the teaser site here
- Level 5 teased a console called ROID, but it was partially a joke. ROID will be a content delivery service when you’ll be able to download/play some of their DS/PSP games. No specific details on what games will be available just yet. They did put together a cool/funny teaser for ROID before they mentioned that the console part of it was a joke. Note the Wii in the background of the video below! So, to wrap things up…ROID as a console is a joke, but as a content delivery service is factual. The official site is here.
I’m pretty sure that about sums up the Wii/DS related news. You can check the official Level 5 site for everything that was shown/talked about at the show. Unfortunately, they are not sharing trailers from the event just yet. Thanks to Tom for the heads up!
