2UE is the longest-running radio station in Sydney, Australia. That means that they are pretty damn popular, and well known. Nintendo of Australia has taken a liking to them, as well. Nintendo and the station have struck a deal to promote Nintendo and the Wii over the next three weeks. They will be doing this by giving away all sorts of on-air gifts, as well as changing their name from 2UE to 2U-Wii.

“all the 2UE on-air broadcasters are excited about the opportunity to play with the Wii and to market the brand on 2U-Wii. It’s not often that an opportunity like this comes along where a brand such as 2UE can totally embrace a promotional concept in this manner.” - station general manager

Nintendo keeps coming up with some pretty inventive ways to get their name out there!
