Come on, is this a surprise to anyone? Activision has said time and time again that they will be returning to tried-and-true franchises. That’s why mostly no one will be shocked to hear this info. All these titles are slated for 2009.

At an ad event earlier today, Activision did confirm that Guitar Hero 5 will indeed be released. It will be supported by a new ad platform, but I believe that this will only show up on the 360 version.

Also confirmed was a new Tony Hawk game. Activision went as far to say that this new game will not be played with a controller in your hands. Both Wii and DS versions were confirmed. This game will hit sometime in October.

Next up was a confirmation of Call of Duty: World at War 2, but no platforms were mentioned.

The same goes for two Bizarre Creations racing titles. One game will be a James Bond racing title, which is not based on a movie. The other title is an original IP that was said to be a cross between Mario Kart and Forza. No platforms were mentioned for either of these games.
