GoNintendo 'End of Day' thoughts - Nintendo's Punch-Out!! Wii commercial is their best in awhile

Time for me to catch some sleep! I’ve had a great Saturday, full of friends and fun. I sure hope you guys had a great day as well. Let’s hope that Mother’s Day goes even better! Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mommies that read GoNintendo! I’ll see all of you in just a few, short hours.

Reader hylianheroloz was nice enough to link us into something he found on YouTube. It happens to be the commercial for Punch-Out!! Wii. The thing is, this video is almost 2 minutes in length. You can be sure that Nintendo will have a 15 and 30 second edit of this commercial, with the full version appearing on the Nintendo Channel as well as in retail stores. At least, I think it will be shown in those chains! They put a lot of work into this just to share an edited version via TV.

Anyway, check out this commercial/promo video that I believe to be one of Nintendo’s best ads in a long time.

You know why I find this commercial so great? It’s nothing but a love-letter to long-time Nintendo fans, as well as fans of Punch-Out!!. Nintendo must have put a lot of time into this, working very closely with the company that put it together. I just keep watching it over and over…I can’t get enough of it!
