I, unfortunately, am the jerk who Downloaded Super Metroid on WiiWare (never have owned a Super Nintendo as a kid) and hasn’t beaten it yet. That means I have no say in the theory that this picture may represent a scene from Super Metroid in which Mother Brain destroys a baby Metroid.

Is this the scene remade for the Wii? A flashback? Leave your two cents for us.
