Nintendo obviously has a little bit of a different focus on DSiWare than WiiWare. DSiWare isn’t just getting games, it’s getting a number of applications. Nintendo is trying to lead the way for other publishers/developers by putting out things like calculators and clocks.
If rumor is to be believed, Nintendo will also be venturing into a few more app-like areas. We are hearing that there will be programs such as DSiMaps and DSiDictionary, which I’m sure you can easily figure out what their purposes are. I think both would definitely be useful, but I don’t know if they’ll be a hit or not.
