Nintendo and 54 other companies won a suit with the Tokyo District Court against retailers that sold R4 and R4-like devices. Those retailers were sent notices that informed them of the situation, and were told that they had to stop selling those devices. Unfortunately, many retailers decided to ignore that notice.
Now, Nintendo and those 54 companies are heading to court once again, and they want to seek out to recoup damages that were incurred from these continuing sales. Furthermore, Nintendo has opened up an online snitch website where people can submit the URL of specific retailers that continue to sell R4 or R4-like devices. Looks like Nintendo is taking things one step further this time around.
