Best DS/3DS RPG's

What is the best true RPG (not rpg elements mixed with another genre) currently available on these systems in your opinion?

God... pure RPG without any mixing of genres? That's like asking for a hamburger without ketchup, to use an American comparison.

Well I have a few, but they're all Dragon Quest (4,5,6,9) and Golden Sun.

Although not available currently outside Japan, Bravely Default is good.

3DS: Unless there's a huge surprise this year, none. Wait for 2013.

When I say pure RPG I guess I would mean a game that is an RPG first and foremost, it can use mechanics from other genre's (for example the mini games in ff7 never bothered me even though it ranged from racing games to RTS) but I don't want it to be capable of being classified as another genre.

Hmm... That's a tough one, but here's my two cents:

DS: The World Ends With You/DQ9

3DS: Devil Survivor Overclocked (Granted, this is only a port of a DS RPG, but the only two 3DS RPGs I've played so far are this and Tales of the Abyss so...)

Dothe Mario and Luigi games count as 'pure' RPGs? Because if so, Bowser's Inside Story is a great DS RPG.

You could probably say Pokemon too, any game. Especially either Pokemon Black and White or the sequels.

Of the RPGs I have finished, Draqon Quest 9!!! Then, FF3.

Does Chrono Trigger count? I haven't finished that one.
I have Radiant Historia, I am told it's one of the best RPG for the DS.
