Hello again, guys! Welcome to the very first 3DS eShop Game of the Year (GOTY) poll! That's right, this is the poll in which the biggest Nintendo fans in the world (a.k.a. YOU GUYS!) get to vote on your favorite 3DS eShop game of 2012! This year, we finally have enough titles to fill up the nomination chart, so let's get going!

The ten games listed above are the top ten games of this year per platform based on the average rating as determined by GameRankings.com. Games must obtain a certain number of reviews (9 for retail, 4 for eShop) in order for it to be eligible for nomination. The nominees are listed in alphabetical order. All members have only one permanent, binding vote. Poll closes exactly 30 days after original posting.

Btw how is Colors 3D a game? Isn't it more like an app? Like for example SwapNote/Nintendo Letterbox.

I voted Colors! 3D only because of how often I use it.

...I should've thought about it a bit more. But I won't change my vote, even if I could.

Denpa Hands down. I haven't played Crashmo outside of a demo from NYCC. I am waiting until I beat Pushmo (which I only just got a month ago) before I buy that.

Cave Story is an old game. Shouldn't even be on here, since it's not really an eShop game, nor did it begin as one. It's just an update that you have to buy separately if you have the original, which is dumb.

I liked Mutant Mudds, it's super hard and the music is catchy
