Bravely Default to be Localized

Whats better then one screen? Well two screens of course! Current-gen portables inside: DS, Lite, DSi, DSXL, 3DS...

Time to Celebrate.

EDIT:
It has been confirmed via April's Nintendo Direct that Bravely Default will be localized for Europe in 2013 and North America in 2014. Nintendo will publish it in both territories.

Great, was waiting for this. Love JRPGs, well besides FF. And with a story written by the same people that did Steins;Gate... auto-buy for me.

(My second post vanished... Why?)

I just hope that we get all of the demos japan got as well, as from what I recall the feedback from the demos made the game better, so maybe if the game ends up being bad we can convince SE to tweak it so it'll be fluent and nice and epic!

And that's where these things fall apart and excuses pop up. It's a sequel to when we got a bunch of niche games and everyone was like "THESE AREN'T CORE GAMES" and didn't buy them and wondered why we didn't get any after that.

I can pretty much guarantee they are not going to tweak a completed, half year old game (now; older by the time we get a demo, assuming it really IS coming here). If the game is "bad" that's it. I honestly don't see how it can be though. It's straight up classic Final Fantasy.

It is? I hope it plays like Final fantasy II (Famicom, don't kill me) or FFVI.

Well Bravely Default being brought over to the west was confirmed today. It's being published by NIntendo. Square seems pretty reluctant to bring this over if Nintendo had to publish this... although I guess the same happened with Dragon Quest 9.

Unfortunately, your examples are two Final Fantasy games I didn't really play all that much.

I played minutes of FFII and played none of FFVI.

Really excited for this, and I don't get why Europe is getting this before us; I really couldn't imagine NoA doing there own translation, and I would really prefer them not to as I like the English voice acting in RPGs.

And to think that my wishes for the game came true. The improvements I wanted were put in (Thanks to For the Sequel), and the game ended up being much better than I expected. It's now one of my favorite 3DS games! Glad to see it do well.
