This thing was apparently on the Canadian Best Buy site, and is rumored to be announced on December 7, 2012. Price? I'm not sure. Release date? Still not sure.
I think it's stupid to announce this now, however.

This would be perfect for me because my Wii disc drive failed about 3 months ago and I decided to forego the $90 charge to fix it and put that money toward a Wii U (which I did purchase). However, I no longer need my Wii because I transferred everything over to the Wii U and will just use that to play Wii games. The only reason I would need my Wii is to play GameCube games, which, of course, this Wii mini won't support. Basically, I just need a mini GameCube machine. And now, as I'm writing this, I'm trying to figure out just who the hell this Wii mini is for.
It's cute, it looks like a Roku box but what can I do with it?
