Rayman Legends Demo?

So I remember us being promised a rayman legends demo on the eshop awhile ago, NA on launch day, and EU on launch day as well (which was yesterday)

Apparently the EU region has only received FIFA 13 as a demo... Which is weird.

Has anyone actually managed to ask Ubisoft on the matters regarding this? I hate to go to EB/Gamestop just to play the demo... They can't say the demo isn't finished, since it technically is already :S

But other than that, what are some of your thoughts on the Rayman Legends demo that's playable at gamestops right now?

Maybe they're prepping a different demo? Haven played the Rayman demo yet so if it's the same demo I'll be confused as to why it took a delay, but at least I can finally play it =D

According to GameInformer, the demo will hit on December 13th. The game won't release until March 2013.

It was only 500MB-ish so I wouldnt worry too much It's pretty slick a lot of fun, art/sound direction is brilliant. I've pre-ordered it now

Yikes D: Might be time to invest in a hard drive ;3 Though depends on how much you see yourself using the eshop.

Yeah I might have to get one incase we get GCN VC games, but I haven't a clue about hard drives. I've heard some work, while some don't on the Wii U and that scares me a bit. xD

Ahh, true didn't think of GCN VC games. That said I've been picking up GC games on the cheap for ages and built up a little collection. So I'm a bit on the fence about GCN VC games as I don't expect we'll be treated to any feature enhancements. If you're worried about a hard drive just make sure there's a returns policy if it doesn't work with the Wii U, a bit of a pain but I guess you could try a local shop to save posting anything back. I'm sure there will be plenty of compatibility lists out there already

Most HDD work just fine. If you have an outlet available, just make sure to get one with a power brick.

If not, get one with a Y-cable for USB.

Or get a 16-32GB USB for dirt cheap. It'll last for a while if all you do is download eShop/GC/VC/Patches.

Got the demo today and im liking this game alot. Mostly like the last stage (Rock something) with the Black Betty song. Just wondering if anyone knows if this will be a common thing with this game(i have zero knowledge of Rayman games)? I enjoyed this level since it played with the beat of the music and it would be great if there were more like it.

I had never played a Rayman game before in my life. Got a Wii U for Christmas, tried the demo last night and I'm sold on Rayman Legends. So much so that I bought Rayman Origins to hold me over until Legends gets here!
