Help - Youtube not working on my Browser

I was trying to look at some youtube videos on my browser, til I notice that play buttom wasn't appearing. It would always appear all black. Is this happening to anyone else or is Nintendo doing secret update to the browser?

Which Browser? Wii or Wii U? I think youtube no longer works on wii due to a HTML5 switch

This also happened to me while I was actually in the middle of browsing YouTube on the Internet Browser app. However, I'm still able to watch embedded YouTube videos on it. Interestingly there is an update to the dedicated Wii U YouTube app available right now.

Just a hunch, but I think this could be YouTube's doing.

Same here. I can't believe YouTube might be forcing their crappy app on us.

Youtube has been working like crap on my android this day, they also changed the format of the site recently, its definitely Google's doing. Lets not get paranoid though.

Yeah, it's not working for me either, but I'll be patient and wait for Google to fix the error and get the player it uses for youtube videos working right again.

This is a workaround, though it's not perfect. It'll help though until Google fixes their stuff.

Use the Wii U Game Pad's stylus, D-pad, and A Button to control YT TV.

Just got my Wii U today as been in asia for few months.,
Loving it so far, setting up browser, and media center and such, gutted to see youtube page wasnt working.

But few work around one is editing url and changing watch?=... to embed/
But that requires work alot better solution is after "watch"
add in "watch_popup" and works perfectly and copy and continue to use paste as needed.
