I don't exactly know what you mean by this part. You mean where it has the bumps on the back so you can actually grip it and makes it easier to hold? I don't know how that COULD feel cheap... I could understand about the buttons, triggers, sticks, etc.

I prefer using the gamepad over wiimote/nunchuck. I've got pretty big hands so for me the gamepad is really comfortable.
