I think cross game chat may come (if Nintendo can figure out how to make that work with the hardware/OS)

I don't think achievements are ever coming.

I doubt it. I wouldn't mind achievements, I enjoy them on my PS3, but things like the stamps in Nintendoland and the Uplay stuff are decent fillers, it's just gonna be game specific. On that note, I'd rather have things like Uplay over achievements/trophies.

I'd like to see the videochat able to function at any time and run like a little picture in picture when doing other things.

It seems like I'm in the minority, but I like achievements or whatever you want to call them. Plus, the stamps gives Nintendo Land so much play value, something that all games should have. Uplay is really cool considering it gives you extra stuff for actually completing the tasks. Also, it would be nice to see Nintendo's take on them.

What we have is all there will be on the OS, with some small changes and expansions in the future. Hopefully Nintendo proves me wrong.

i want a way to join a game that a friend is playing.. trying to get an online match going with a friend in trine 2 is proving to be difficult... the fact that neither of those options are available is just plain ridiculous... and like said above, achievements would be very nice.

or maybe your own miiverse page that you can post to.. so you could tell people you're about to play "name of game".. and the people who follow you can see that you're playing that.. or something of that nature

I love Nintendo but the "2 steps forward 1 step back" approach to their hardware (and one could argue their software too.) drives me nuts.

I imagine this problem, if it's legitimate and not previous user error, stems from Nintendo's stubbornness to lock user accounts to hardware. If it's legit, Nintendo needs to look themselves in the mirror and realize they need more help than they realize.

I think they need a near complete change in people in leadership positions, go younger more willing to change and open to modern ways. and maybe put NoA in charge. Japanese development is just not keeping up with the times.

DAT UNPRECEDENTED PARTNERSHIP

Crysis 3 isn't coming to Wii U because of a lack of 'business drive' between EA and Nintendo. Eh...I don't really care, to be honest. Crysis 1 and 2 aren't really that good outside of the graphics. It's just more fuel to the 'EA wanted Origin on Wii U, Nintendo said no and EA threw a hissy fit' rumor. EA continues to be the Capcpom of the West in my opinion. They neither get it nor seem to care.

Although I suspect it'll sell better than Dead Space 3.

EA really is the scum of the industry. The only reason I changed my mind and will actually get Mass Effect 3 on Wii U instead boycotting it with the false hope of a Trilogy release is because I nabbed the 1 & 2 Steam bundle when it was on sale for 10 bucks.

At least they didnt make a weird excuse, this is pretty much the actual reason most third parties actually wont support Nintendo consoles.

Almost everyone else is dead silent though. But ultimately Crytek's quote leads us down the road of 'a business deal went wrong, EA got ticked.' Which only makes EA look bad in my opinion, considering what's rumored to be out there.

The other day on the radio it was announced that Ubisoft gave them a Wii U and a bunch of their "hit games, including ZombiU and Just Dance" to give away. Did they ever do something like this with the Wii, or is Ubisoft really getting into a more buddy-buddy relationship with Nintendo?

I'm not sure. That sounds like a 'call Nintendo' or 'look at the manual' question.
