Wii U Adapter Compatibilty

Postby Blakexd9 » 14 Nov 2012 20:07

I had to purchase an adapter for the "AV MULTI OUT" slot on the back of the Wii. (The large one at the bottom.) Will this adapter be compatible with the Wii U? I've looked at the back of both consoles, and the slots look identical.

Thanks in advance,
Blake

The regular white, red, and yellow cords didn't work. The adapter replaced them with 5 cords instead of the 3.

The cord says "Advance Performance Component Video and Stereo Audio Cable" on it.

the ones you have will give out a better sound and picture quality too. It'll be higher rez then standard def but not quite HD.

Now that I think about it... Does "Wii Mode" works with HDMI?

So it won't be the standard resolution for Wii U games?
Or are you talking about when I use these cords with the Wii?

It's a valid, legitimate question. Don't assume that everyone should know.
