Wara Wara Plaza confusions?

I set up the miiverse thing but when I turn on my wii I still only get the Nintendo people in the plaza. Is this normal or should I have real people? Also I don't know how to change the setting so people can send me friend requests. It says I need to run set up,

Same here. Haven't tried the friends yet. I want to get to know the system a little better first.

Same. I don't really know what's going on with that; maybe there'll be SpotPass notifications there. I don't know.

Guys, this system has been out for just ONE whole day. The wara wara is about trending topics i believe so probably need a couple of days to start off or maybe it will start tomorrow. I don't have a system yet, but hope to get one soon as soon as I find one

I think JPNR is right, Nintendo put their 'people' on there first and probably sometime today it will change to have more Miis on there.

That's good, but I thought it was supposed to be a global thing with strangers and friends both.

Yeah I was thinking that as well.

Maybe strangers appear only for games with Miiverse while Nintendo people appear by default with the pre-installed usual apps.

I haven't a WiiU game so I can't confirm this for myself until I get my copy of New Super Mario Bros. U

Nah, that can't be it. I have two games, and niether one has an icon in the plaza. I also haven't gotten any global visitors in Nintendo Land, or anyone's shops on Scribblenauts.

evrything is working great now. i have icons for the big launch games and netflix. so far the popular games are nintendoland and super mario brothers. not much love for scribblenauts, batman, or ninja gaiden. i think each only had 3 miis standing by them.

very cool feature though now thats its running with updated information from miiverse.
