Transfer from Wii to Wii (not Wii U)

My brother is getting a Wii U for Christmas and he has a black Wii he is getting rid of. I'd like to transfer my white Wii info to it. Is that possible?

nope... now, u might be able to get nintendo to do it, but it would probably cost the usual $75 fee for fixing the console

Well, you can copy all your save files and channels to an SD card (Except Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and Guitar Hero) and then copy it to your new Wii. You can't transfer your Wii System code either. So, if you just want to copy most of your save files and channels then just copy to an SD card and then copy back to your new Wii. That is what I did when I bought a new one. Hope this helps!

Edit: Forgot to mention you cannot transfer WiiWare or VC games onto the new Wii either. Luckily I didn't have any when I got my new Wii...

Possible if you hack both of your Wii systems, that's what I did when I got my Red Wii. You'll be able to get all your save data and as for your WiiWare and VC games, well Nintendo's policy are retarded regarding this. Even as a game collector, I had no remorse in re-installing them using WAD installers, I mean hell, I paid for them so I should be able to transfer them, that's my policy anyway.

I only care about my NSMB Wii save data being transferred. Can I redownload my WiiWare/VC games?

you can't keep you wiiware/vc stuff.. they are tied to the console..... like i said before, you might be able to get nintendo to do it, for a fee
