Gamepad joystick deadzone...

ive been having a problem with the joysticks. it seems like the deadzone is way too big for the joysticks. i have to tilt more than a 3rd of the way to get any reaction. Noticed it on ZombiU and AC3. anyone else noticing this too? i think thats why im having trouble aiming my gun in ZombiU, well that and 6 years of 360 controller use.

I did notice that using the gamepad with AC3, I switched to the pro controller, no such problem.
