Games you want in 2013.

After the paronoia that's called "the end of the world", what games are you looking foward to?

Mines is Fire Emblem: Awakening and Pikmin 3. Obviously, I'm a huge fire emblem nerd (one issue I have with the game is that...... Really? Can they not render 3D models properly?). Pikmin 3 is that one game that's cute; and cute stuff is cool.

Other than those games, I remain indifferent to games like Last of Us and Watch Dogs.

Haha, yeah. I think that's the weirdest thing about the whole game, they seem more like little stubs or something and it seems apparent with many of the characters. Crazy aesthetics for sure, and while I hope the next game doesn't do it like this, I'm sure it's something I'll forget. It's more like a non-issue with me, since it's not like I'm paying attention to their feet anyway.

Fire Emblem 13, New Leaf, Trails SC, Ni no Kuni, Pikmin 3, and Layton vs. Ace Attorney are the only titles I am presently looking forward to that have already been announced or otherwise are logical releases.

2012 was definitely a "catch-up" year for me since not only were there a lack of games that I really wanted, but it was also my first year with a PS3. In terms of Nintendo the major two purchases were the Wii U and Metroid Prime: Trilogy. I'm sure there are more games they haven't announced yet, and I'm hoping we'll get a 3D Mario by Christmas, but 2013 seems pretty dry so far for Nintendo. Right now I'm most excited for The Last of Us, Sly 4 and Ni No Kuni.

mostly i acquire plushies and DVDs and 2013 has some promising DVDs including DVD sets of the Jackson Five cartoons and both versions of Samurai Pizza Cats (the japanese original [Kyatto Ninden Teyandee] and the famous Saban dub)

I know a lot of die-hard Metal Gear fans that have 0 interest in Rising. And they said that before Platinum Games took over.
