3D Game Collection sounds fun, but the real story here is BIT.TRIP SAGA going digital. From digital to retail and back to digital again! Thanks to Devine Alpha for the heads up.

I got the retail version for $15, and now I physically own it, which is the way I like it.

Still a good deal for those people who haven't picked it up yet.

Yeah it's a good deal. I immediately checked on Amazon and it's $16.5 now, but I'll like it better on digital so I can switch quickly in short dozes. I'm tempted to get it for the 3D effect, but I played it so much on Wiiware.. I'll probably get it.

Great, now I could finally get it. I never saw even one copy at retail in my country.

Might as well grab it... for completion's sake. Then I'll own every iteration of every game ever released across all platforms. Plus the original (individual) OSTs. O_o Kinda happened accidentally but I really like having CORE and BEAT with me pretty much everywhere I go. :)

It's a really good price, but the port is pretty shoddy. Frame rate sucks. Not to be a party pooper or anything!!

x2. It basically gets cut in half in 3DS mode, and worse still it can be inconsistent which is very distracting in a rhythm game. Still, if you don't turn the 3D on it plays quite nicely.

I heard the framerate only drops when 3D is on, so maybe it's just a game better played in 2D.

Anyway, sounds like a good price. :) Still though, I might want to see if I can find Complete for cheap first (then I'd get all of the original controls, and extra stages).

Maybe the digital version fixes the framerate issues. Been a year, so they could have tweaked the game a bit.

$15 for something that i've already bought twice? no wait, three times!??!?! is this really going to find a new audience, or are we all being fleeced? isn't constant rehashed content one of the reasons we were happy to have an indie scene to begin with? i love bit trip and cave story, just like everyone else, but is this really how the indie market is going to be run? we have to buy the same game 3 times to justify the developers to take another chance and make something else with their innovation and talent? won't this sort of behavior (when practiced as the norm) simply create an exact replica of the corporate system we claim to "need" an alternative to? how bout a free downloader for all the people who have physical copies? this could be done easily (excepting nintendo's approval) by checking if a copy was in the 3ds slot, or by checking the club nintendo accounts, etc. the release could still be sold for whatever price, but then, at least those that simply prefer a digital copy, and have paid for the use of copyright, can have one without being forced to purchase multiple versions. put simply, the games that i buy shouldn't become obsolete just because there's a new machine on the market, or a new technology available. no disrespect meant for gaijin or nicalis, btw, i hope you guys keep giving us awesome games to play.

Hey, they're just putting it there for the people who want it (the retail version had a very limited run after all). If I understood correctly it's the same as the retail version. Nobody's forcing you to buy it.
