So, do anyone know why Atlus hate Europe?

The only thing we Europeans can do is pray that the guys at ghostlight will eventually pick up them before people have lost interest in them. The sooner someone figure out a way to make the 3DS region free, the better.

Can you imagine what it would have been like had it been localized in 1997? Same year FFVII was localized?

Rejoice Atlus, for here's all of my moneys for another day-one preor... oh, wait. Nintendo hates you and European Atlus faithfuls and doesn't want us to be friends anymore.

Considering Soul Hackers was originally a Sega Saturn game, I think that scenario plays itself out. :P (yeah, sadly Saturn was no where near as big here as it was in Japan, and I place part of the blame on the fact lots of really good games, like this one, never got localized at the time) I know a PS1 port did come out in Japan in 1999, but in that case the battle would have been with FFVIII and by that point FF had solidified it's popularity with Western audiences.

But getting more on topic, great to see Atlus confirming this for NA release next year. I need some more RPG goodness on my 3DS. :)

Because they don't have a European branch and it is financially nonviable to make one.

Go bug Ghostlight and Rising Star.
