Well. It would surprise me f true. I think that those who think it's an extra controller for the Wii etc are few now compared to E3 2011. Here in Norway at least people know very well what the U is. Of course, there are still people who will not get it because Nintendo consoles are for kids and other silly excuses. But I am sure I will get some to join the fun after I invite them over
But there are also people who wants a Wii U who skipped the Wii era. The so called "hardcore gamers". People are slowly realizing that it's a next-gen (or now this-gen since it's already out, making the Wii, 360 and PS3 last-gen) console. It might not be such a hit hit as the Wii was, but I think it will sell petty well in the long term. And if this is any indication (and true) then it's of for a good start.
