Dan Hsu said it was a failure 2 days after launch because the analog stick is in a different position. Kotaku said it's not the console for sports or shooters because there aren't as many people online as the other systems which already have millions of users. Some guy I just saw on youtube said it was obviously a kid's system regardless of it having AC3 and Black Ops 2. Sales don't matter, it could outsell ps360 combined and Nintendo would still be in last place. It's over, Nintendo's doomed, soon to be a 3rd party if even that. Pack up shop and get ready for SMB on cell phones.

It isn't doing poorly in the uk if you look at the rumored figures they planned to ship. They sold over 40000 in 2 days when rumors were saying they only had 25000 to ship. That is good.
When you factor that they are advertising 3ds more and people just aren't buying stuff here this is good. I'm surprised it sold out anywhere here.
