You want Goldeneye released on a digital platform, Nintendo would have to buy the license. Very unlikely... but it would be a good idea on their part.
Actually Goldeneye (N64) is owned by multiple parties:
Microsoft/Rare: they own most of the code
Nintendo: owns some of the code and publishing rights
The 007 license is held by MGM and is licensed to a developer/publisher.
So yeah no one can get a version of the N64 game without all three parties signing off.
Actually I own Legends and it is a decent game.
I enjoyed beating it.
M1 is no more...
