The Puyo Puyo puzzle series will most likely continue forever. It's definitely got a following, especially in Japan. The official Twitter account for the series has said that there might be a special announcement next week. We'll be keeping tabs!

The West has been missing out on Puyo Puyo games since Puyo Puyo/Pop Fever many years ago. I doubt this upcoming project is related to the rest of the world outside Japan, unfortunately.
