You guys are missing out. Need For Speed: Most Wanted and Mass Effect 3 are two of the best games on Wii U. If you don't want to give your money to EA, do like I did and purchase them used. :D

Wait... Hate EA makes you a Nintendrone now? That's like... Over half the industry, and most don't make games on Nintendo systems!

That's... No seriously, that's a f****** new one for me.

That's the level where you hate Survivor makes you a FOX believer.

EA FY14 Q1: $220 million profit

EA's a terrible company that has talented developers under its wings. The developers make good games while EA does terrible business practices. Whether you're pro Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft is irrelevant as the above is true.

EA FY14 Q1: $220 million profit

@CrispyGoomba

Honestly, I think people who rally against and accuse anybody and everybody who makes a negative comment about another company on a Nintendo-based website as therefore somehow being a Nintendrone or fanboy are in fact more annoying than the real few amount of hardcore Nintendo fanboys that are actually on this site.

So having said that, stop generalizing @CrispyGoomba. There are plenty of gamers across the board who feel EA is sh!t. It's not exclusive to supposed Nintendrones.

Yep...so horrible that EA made a profit while employing thousands of Americans. What an evil company. [end sarcasm]

Good point. But really, I was just agreeing with the guy above me saying that they are missing out on some good games published by EA.

Good for you, but 99% of the time they are Nintendrones. (75% of stats are made up on the spot!)

Talk about generalization.... Nintendo fans aren't the only ones who hate Ea. Many types of gamers hate EA. EA ain't one of the most hated video games companies out there for nothing. With that kind of assumption, people are gonna come down on you, hard.

And to be honest, I wouldn't dare buy any of their games on ANY gaming platform.

No they're not. That's just you generalizing again. In fact, I dare say that there are more people on this site who outright and flatout trash Nintendo for anything and everything and relentlessly hate on them (anti-fanboys) than there are people who think Nintendo can do no wrong. And honestly, most of the time the people you guys consider fanboys are just people who don't believe in childlessly bashing Nintendo for making a decision they don't agree with and instead looking at all the facts and rationally coming to conclusions about why it might be the way it is or just debating the issue rather than panning the company. But you know, whatever you want to think.

Not only that, but EA has been known to canabalize and disband studios after doing poorly because of EA's forcing certain goals on the developers (slicing off the game for DLC, Always On DRM, rushing out unfinished products).

Never forget what they did to Ultima.

Or Amalur, or Bioware in general.

Hell, they're known to fire a group just before a fiscal earnings call to help stimulate a bigger looking return.

They're also a company, like Target and Wal-Mart, that gets tax cuts for hiring a certain number of new people a year.

Seeing where this is going?
