I could not have seen this coming.
I hope it's better than the original. Already excited that there is a story mode.
Also, the "Izayoi" thing is the true form of Tsubaki, not her weapon. And that's unrelated to this game.
And the game is "BlayzeBloo: CLONE Phantasma", not Chrono Phantasma, that's the real sequel to Continuum Shift.
Aaaaaand it was confirmed to be a download title/eShop game.
@NabooruIt's not a name change, it's a spin-off title where all the characters are chibi (like "Teach Me, Miss Litchi!") and a sequel to a DSiWare title.
@GeneticRepoManEven for $5/500 points, it's nothing to write home about.
You only have access to 5 characters (Jin, Ragna, Noel, Taokaka and Rachel) and the 'arcade mode' is just a few random arena things with weird settings involving "beat-em up", "points" (collecting ramen bowls) and "flag" (capturing a Panda flag) and characters only have like 2 attacks.
I mean, it's not awful. It's just overpriced and is not really that fun unless you have someone else (locally) to play it with, because once you beat it as all 5 characters, there's not much to do.
Watch a video if you can find one. Basically whatever you see in the video is about all you get. I'd recommend it more if it were only $2.
@Eternal RainHaving completed Calamity Trigger myself, but not getting Continuum Shift yet, from what I understand, you can just jump right into Continuum Shift. It has all the characters and a brief version of the story mode from the first game, so it's like having both.
I'd also be more inclined to suggest getting Continuum Shift EXTEND, because it has all the DLC and features of the 3DS game, but also has Relius Clover and I think a few other bonuses. It's the 'ultimate' version.
I just hope Chrono Phantasma actually comes to 360 because, I have the first game (and will likely get CSE) on 360 and it'd suck if they suddenly dropped 360 support in the West. We'll see.
