What I would like to know is, why are the 2D Mario games constantly getting more and more silly clown voices blurting in on the (recycled) music, while the 3D ones get classy, freshly orchestrated stuff? The developer favoritism here is getting disgustingly apparent.

It reminds me of Loco Roco… which is an awesome thing. I loved when those critters singed.

Of course, this is a pure evolution of the Koopa dancing on the vocals.

The only favoritism is your obvious fanboyism. How about you just drop the subtlety and just go:

"LOL WHY DO 2D MARIO SUCK SO HARD AND 3D MARIO RULES?!"

Okay, I'm thinking maybe I didn't phrase that quite right, because you've somehow gotten an impression that's completely backwards.

I like the 2D games better, I just don't like seeing them devolve into bland re-hashes with clownish music while the 3D ones consistently get the royal treatment.
