RUMOR - Resident Evil: Revelations hitting 360/PS3?

I really wouldn't be too surprised to see this happen. I've been thinking that Resident Evil: Revelations was going to get a digital re-release for consoles for some time now. Now a listing has popped up that seems to indicate plans for 360/PS3. Let's hope that if this is true, Wii U gets added in there! Thanks to Dim for the heads up.

I heard since it's Korea and the wiiu isn't out there yet that it wouldn't have shown up there anyways, but let's hope capcom does capcom this

Oh, right. Capcom. Guess they needed SOMETHING to apologize to the 360/PS3 fans for RE6.

Revelations was a decent game, but it's hardly a console-worthy release. They're going to have to throw in a ton of extras to make it worth getting on a console.

Well if it's a digital release (like the Chronicles games on PSN) they can keep the cost down with minimal effort.

I have the 3DS version and unless they do end up adding a lot to it, I'll pass on the console version (unless they have a really really cheap PSN+ sale) and stick with my handheld version. I still have a few more Raid levels to go through anyhow. . .

I'm not surprised either. In fact, I expected them to port it over somewhere. They did with the rail shooters, so why not Revelations? They're just trying to get every last penny out of it while RE7 is still in production.

This makes since really, and it's nice. Why not? It won't look as great on a console and stuff, but more people will play and it's fine. I didn't really like Revelations as much as RE6 though. (I'm the odd one that loves RE6)

Yeah I agree its probably not true. The chronicles games are rail shooters and fitted the move. This game is too 3ds specific. They said that all the time. Its a difficult port that will sell less than the cost of a porting. A terrific game on the 3ds and will remain only 3ds I suspect.

well it's capcom , always willing to port RE everywhere except on nintendo platforms , but at least the good thing about that will be the price drop for the 3ds game . In fact , they should make it official and release the game on eshop for 20$ while they release the enhanced game elsewhere for 10-15 .
I would still get the 3ds version .

And really guys? All those negative votes? Why? Because a HANDHELD GAME is getting ported to consoles MAYBE? You really care that much? WHINE WHINE, I WANT GAMES PORTED TO WII U, WHY DOESN'T WII U AND 3DS GET THESE GAMES; Oh, BUT DON'T LET ANYONE ELSE HAVE OUR GAMES.

I guess that's why Nintendo has RE2 on two consoles, a remake of RE1 on Gamecube and an upgraded port on DS, a completely exclusive prequel, and ports of RE3, Code: Veronica X and had Resident Evil 4, Umbrella Chronicles, Darkside Chronicles and Revelations made specifically for Nintendo consoles.

Oh, but we didn't get RE5, RE6 or Operation Raccoon City and some spin-offs. All games you guys hate anyway. So obviously Capcom hates us since they ported our games over and we didn't get THE ONES YOU DON'T EVEN WANT.

If it sold well, why would they NOT want to make MORE MONEY off of it?

It's not an apology. It's "We want more money. We know people will buy it again and people who didn't get to experience it will want to buy it on their consoles instead of buying a new system"
