Just wait until the homemade/third party carrying cases for the (modded) consoles, complete with power sources, for the true portable console experience.

People may think it's ridiculous but it's the first time a console needed so little to make portability a possibility from day one.

This thing can do Wii U despite it not being mentioned. Just plug it via HDMI.

I saw this and thought WHAT?! As yeah, it's not supposed to be out here till the 8th of dec. Turns out this is some person running some site though, so not exactly just a random person of the general public.

One Q - can you play on the Wii U without having it connected to a TV?! That's what I wanna know.. I don't have a TV right now but would consider buying one if it's possible to play it without it

Yes you can play without the tv, but in order to do that you will need a tv first to set up the console to be used which needs a tv, after it is set up then you are good to go, this do not work for every game tho, for example i have black ops when it reach on the start screen on the game pad i press switch game to gamepad so everything is seen on it without me having to use my tv

anyone remember the statement "the day nintendo launches a system they begin working on the new one" my mind was just blown... bring on the home, portable, 3d, motion controlled, FPS, vitality, tv remote system with netflix and wifi!

Importing exists, but, that's not a random member of the public, that's someone in the business, like how sites etc in America got their kits a week before launch.

Trains do have windows, but in the cheaper short-distance ones they get their glasses smashed by villagers or commuters, and the authorities don't give much of a damn about the maintenance of the service...

Yep, the OS even appears on the gamepad first, so the TV is unnecessary (as long your game can play on the gamepad alone)
