RUMOR: Multiple retailers list Sonic Superstars with an Oct. 17th, 2023 release date

SEGA previously announced that Sonic Superstars, a new 2D Sonic title, is heading to Switch in Fall 2023. Wondering when exactly you can get your hands on this one? SEGA isn’t saying, but retailers might have an idea.

Multiple retailers have updated their listings for Sonic Superstars today, and they all happen to share the same date. For whatever reason, multiple retailers now show a release date of Oct. 17th, 2023. Again, this date isn’t confirmed by SEGA at this time, but that date would certainly line up with the Fall 2023 schedule.

In Sonic Superstars, you’ll adventure through the mystical Northstar Islands in an all-new take on classic 2D Sonic high-speed action platforming. Play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose and harness all-new Emerald powers to move and attack in dynamic new ways.
