Wondering how the Switch held up in Japan this week? Switch titles made up 9 of the top 10 best-selling software list. Spike Chunsoft’s Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE debuted in first with over 55k units sold, dethroning Final Fantasy XVI on PS5 after just one week on top, and pushing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom down to third. Three other games debuted this week; Capcom’s Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective placed in fifth, Idea Factory’s 9 R.I.P. placed in sixth, and Falcom’s Tokyo Xanadu eX+ placed in ninth. As for the rest of the charts, it’s quite standard, with top-selling titles like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Minecraft, Nintendo Switch Sports, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate making their usual appearance.

As for hardware, the Nintendo Switch OLED has retaken first place, with the PlayStation 5 placing in second. The standard Switch placed in third, and the Switch Lite took fourth, with the PS5 Digital in fifth.
