As a consumer, I don't like the price of games going up. But as somebody who has seen the price of EVERYTHING go up over the past two years, I understand why it's $70 now. And there was probably no better game than a highly-polished and feature-packed Zelda game to ease us into the new price bracket.

I'm hoping we won't see too many more $70 games in the Switch library. And then, when the next console launches and the games are regularly $70, their increase in quality make it feel justified.

Amazing sales all around. I wish we got some Super Mario Bros. Wonder numbers.

This is September reports. We won't get wonder sales untill after three months.

So despite the increased price alongside the digital voucher deal, TotK had INCREASED physical sales?

Welp, if there are more $70 games you can’t say consumers have nothing to do with it. Granted, there certainly will be on the next system regardless.

@hawk

The prices going up was inevitable but they still released Wonder at the lower price point, so they kept the promise of "select games will be 70" for now.
I have yet to play TOTK, but from what everyone says, even other developers, is that it's og high quality, genius and polished to the bone.

Doesn't look like any real big, new hitters are coming from the last Direct so I doubt it. Unless they just feel like it and give Paper Mario the 70 price tag, of course. They can if they wanna.
