Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh was originally going to launch November 8th, 2023 on Switch, but back in September, publisher Microids announced that the Switch version would be pushed until sometime in 2024. While that may have been disappointing news at first, it seems Switch owners are going to make out better in the long run.

Pedulo Studios, the team who developed Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh, has shared a social media message on the game’s launch day for other platforms. Apparently the game is arriving in an unfinished state, and the team isn’t happy about the current situation. That said, they pledge to fix things up in the coming weeks through patches. You can see the team’s full message below. (h/t VGC)

Hopefully the devs fix things up for the versions released, and then apply all of that extra work to the eventual Switch release. We’ll let you know of when the game is set to arrive on Switch once that information is shared.
