Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft was announced for Switch back in September 2023 and it includes the first three Tomb Raider games with remastered graphics. The collection also includes all expansions and secret levels that have been previously released, and finally, players will be able to toggle between the original graphics and a remastered look.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft is set to arrive on Switch February 14th, 2024, but that only pertains to a digital release. If you were hoping to snag this collection physically, it appears you’re completely out of luck, at least for now. Could a physical option be on the way? Well, that depends on lines you’re willing to read between.

Chris Bashaar, director of product at Aspyr, was asked in a Nintendo Everything interview about the chances of a physical release for Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft. He responded by saying Aspyr “have not made any announcements about a physical release.” I don’t know about you, but that certainly sounds like a more open-ended response than a straightforward “no.”

Should any news on a physical option of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft pop up, we’ll bring those details to you.

God, I hope so. I collect compilations and digital-only ones are my bane.

It saddens me when there’s no physical release! With spec ops the line being de listed it just shows how we need there to be physical copies or these things will be lost to time! Even if they reduce the amount of physical copies made it’s better than no copies! Digital ownership is a rental.

The blessing in desguise may be that if/when we do get a physical then maybe it will already be updated (at least more than the day one release). Thus being a much better product for physical copy collectors.
