Ubisoft has announced that they’re ending multiplayer and online service support for a host of titles, including some Wii and Wii U games. This change is effective immediately, so if you were hoping to get in some online fun with these titles, your opportunity has already passed. You can see a list of the Wii and Wii U games with halted online services below.

Suprised some Wii titles still have active internet, i guess this makes it fewer, heard that some cod or maybe the golden eye game had active online a few years back, but neat these had even if i played neither title.

I cannot fault Ubisoft for doing this.
I can fault Ubisoft for not providing any warning for doing this.
(I think they had shuttered their "Ubi-club" connection on the WiiU long ago, which causes some things not to fully function.)

I was playing Just Dance on the Wii those last weeks and none of those games had online components working so I thought that was already off.

Kinda weird that they even listed Splinter Cell: Blacklist. A quick Google search shows that those servers (and a few other Wii U titles listed) were actually shut down back in 2017. And Wii U version was the only console version of Splinter Cell to not have local multiplayer support, so I guess it's exclusively a single player game now.
