The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD press release is bogus (UPDATE)

GN Version 4.0
UPDATE - Here's a statement from Operation Rainfall.

Basically it was a screw up on our part, we started a relationship with MEC Global who does the marketing/pr for Nintendo UK. One of the things we asked them before we started this was do we notate that it's been provided by Nintendo UK or MEC? They responded with "This article has been provided by Nintendo UK" So that will explain that line and why Nintendo UK doesn't know much about it.

Yesterday, we posted up a press release that was said to come from Nintendo UK pertaining to The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD. When I first saw the PR, I thought it to be bogus. Something about it just didn't seem right. I wish I went with my first judgment.

I searched the internet far and wide to find the original source. I found nothing from NoE or Nintendo UK. I couldn't find the PR anywhere around the web from any other source than Operation Rainfall. I sat on the PR for a bit, wondering what to do. I decided to trust Operation Rainfall's name and ran the press release, since the outfit has done so much good in the past and had no reason to provide a bunk statement.

Today, we come to find out that the PR was fake. Nintendo says it didn't come from them. I've reached out to Operation Rainfall to see what the issue is. Hopefully they were just duped as well.
