GN Version 5.0

85 here last week...55 this week. It's more like Fall winter than Spring here! Oh well, anything beats Winter! I don't mind snuggling up with a blanket one day and opening the windows the next! See you in a few, short hours.

Thank you...thank you SO much for the support of our 'Parents Play' series. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. Any excuse to see my parents every week is a good one. We were already getting together once a week, but this video series has given us a whole new reason to laugh and have fun. Sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, thank you very much for spreading the word on these features.

For those that don't know what in the hell I'm talking about, here's a look at the most recent entry in the series. The short story is, my Mom and Dad sit down to play a game each week. My Mom plays games and my Dad doesn't. That's what results in something like this!

Videos are recorded Thursday evenings and posted up as the End of Day thought early Friday. That means we're playing a game tomorrow! I'd like to once again open up the floor for suggestions from you guys. Feel free to leave a comment on this post and let me know what you'd like them to play. You can also reply to the corresponding tweet for this story. I'll keep tabs on what you say and put together a list of what's feasible.

One thing to note...we've had lots of suggestions for Rhythm Heaven Fever. I'd love to do that game, but it might be a tad hard to record. We don't have the TV volume all that high when my parents play, all because the setup is quite close to the TV. The mic would end up recording audio off the TV while they were playing if I had the volume high enough. That'll mess with the direct-feed audio recording. I could potentially try muting the direct-feed audio and just run with audio from the TV, but even if that works out perfectly, the final result would be lackluster audio from the game. I haven't given up on the idea just yet, but I'll have to run some tests before I can make it happen.

So...besides that game, fire away with your suggestions! Looking forward to hearing what you have in mind.
